The challenge

They were using Excel internally for managing enquiry packages. This meant having to go back and forth into Excel to check ‘who are you expecting to get returns from, who have you got returns from, who’s declined?’. Every estimator was also tasked with constantly updating their own Excel tracking sheets to ensure that it was always up-to-date for all parties involved. When it came to sending out the enquiry packages, they needed to manually break up all the tender information to the relevant packages, create package specific ITTs and then upload everything to package specific we-transfer links. Sending with We-transfer brought it’s own issues where the links they shared would often expire and require re-uploading and re-sharing and when it came to addendums they needed to create new links, which meant it became a pain to manage all the various document links as well. The solution
